Take a PowerPoint tour of Japanese Buddhist temples, focusing on the many temples of Kyoto. The lecture is offered by Yumiko Ito-Sandoe a Japanese native and art historian. Reservations required.

Hindu Worldview
How do 1.8 million American Hindus practice their faith and how has that faith changed over time? What do they believe in? What rules of behavior govern their lives? According to their traditions, how do Hindus deal with money and power? What elements of the Hindu worldview might be helpful in one’s own quest for understanding the universe?
A slide/lecture by Dr. Donald Johnson, funded by the New Hampshire Humanities Council. Reservations required.
