Migrating Birds are busy building their homes. Join us to learn from two New England birders who will teach you how to observe and identify this wonderful right of spring without disturbing nesting birds.
Meet at the Horatio Colony Nature Preserve parking area off Daniels Hill Road in Keene (first pull off on left). Remember to bring sturdy walking shoes, water/snack, bug spray, hat and binoculars.

- A dramatic reading of Horatio Colony's play, The Emperor and the Bee Boy, originally written and now performed for the first time in Horatio’s home. Reservations Required.

Scats & Tracks

What's leaving tracks and scat at the Horatio Colony Nature Preserve? We’ll identify evidence of animal visits and discover what critters left them behind. Best for parents and the 2nd to 5th grade children. Meet at the Horatio Colony Nature Preserve parking area off Daniels Hill Road in Keene (first pull off on left).
